Abstract Global Wallets

Context

At Abstract, we believe the future of crypto depends on account abstraction, better UX, and hiding seed phrases for new users. So we built Abstract Global Wallet, which is our auth platform and solution. It’s a network-wide embedded wallet that users can sign in through social or standard Web3 wallet authentication.

Official Policy

To be eligible for inclusion in the Abstract Portal, all projects must support the Abstract Global Wallet (AGW). This is non-negotiable. For example, if you're launching an NFT set and minting is conducted through a website, users must be able to connect their AGW to participate.

In addition to AGW support, applications are generally expected to meet the following criteria (subject to updates over time):

• Abstract Native: Purpose-built to operate within the Abstract ecosystem.
• Live Web Experience: Accessible and functional interface available online.
• Wallet Integration: Seamless compatibility with the Abstract Global Wallet.
• Cross-Device Support: Usable across common devices and platforms.
• Sustainable Activity or Revenue Model: Demonstrates the ability to generate meaningful on-chain usage or recurring economic value.
• Ecosystem Alignment: Positively contributes to the broader Abstract community and its goals.
• Web3 Standards Compliance: Adheres to common protocols and best practices in the Web3 ecosystem.
• Product Test: Completes a product test with the Abstract to ensure product quality guidelines.

Audit

Context

In order to protect consumers and fulfill the vision of true consumer crypto for Abstract, we have placed strict requirements for audits when it comes to apps we feature in our Portal and its Spotlight feature.

Official Policy

We require all apps that want to be featured on Spotlight and listed in the portal to have at least Tier 1 audit and we recommend at least one more Tier 2 / Tier 3 auditor.
